My focus is to improve patient care and safety by implementing innovative IT solutions that support clinicians and trainees. I am the clinical lead for Emergency Informatics for the OneBILH project and the director of Emergency Informatics at BIDMC. Past projects include the ED Dashboard (homegrown ED Information system at BIDMC), ECG Wave-maven (educational website with over 500 annotated electrocardiography challenges) and developing a disaster medicine mobile EHR for a field hospital in Haiti after the devastating 2010 earthquake. My hobbies include volleyball, kayaking and juggling.
