Caitlin Neary

Caitlin Neary is a CRC in the Translational Research Lab. She recently graduated from the University of Connecticut, where she majored in Molecular & Cell Biology and minored in Anthropology of Global Health. She has experience working as an EMT, ER technician, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant in a virology lab. Her current work involves the coordination of several cancer biobanking studies, with a focus on lung cancer screening and detection.  Several projects seek to confirm or identify relevant biomarkers, which may be used to enhance lung cancer screening and diagnostics. Caitlin ultimately plans to pursue a career in medicine and continue engaging with research in the field.
