Hometown: Tewksbury, MA
Medical School: Lincoln Memorial University – DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine
Residency: Baystate Medical Center

Katerina earned her medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University – DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her emergency medicine residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. She has been part of the Lahey family ever since and is board certified in Emergency Medicine.

Katerina has been deeply involved in resident education throughout her career, making the co-founding of Lahey's newly ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine Residency a natural and deeply rewarding milestone. As Program Director and Director of Medical Education, she is focused on building a program where residents feel supported, challenged, and genuinely prepared for whatever walks through the door.

Outside the ED, family comes first , and life with twin girls means there is never a dull moment. When she can steal some time, Katerina is a self-proclaimed water enthusiast; if there's an ocean, lake, or river nearby, she's already headed toward it, ideally with the whole crew in tow. You'll also find her logging miles on her bike and soaking up every moment of the outdoor life she loves.
