As your primary academic flagship and main home base, the Joseph C. Corkery Emergency Center at Lahey Clinic serves as the only verified Level I Trauma Center north of Boston. Managing a high-acuity, complex tertiary referral volume of over 65,000 annual patient visits, this newly expanded, state-of-the-art emergency facility features 36 private rooms, dedicated advanced imaging suites, and 4 interconnected trauma resuscitation bays. Training here positions residents at the forefront of hyper-acute medicine, running resuscitations, managing multi-system trauma, and handling complex stroke and cardiac emergencies. Under the direct mentorship of our elite faculty, you will spend four years developing unmatched procedural command and diagnostic intuition, fully preparing you to lead any emergency department in the country.

Trainees develop mastery over advanced ventilator management, vasoactive medication titration, invasive ICP monitoring, and advanced cardiopulmonary support pathways like ECMO.
