Dr. Ryan M. Kring trained at Tufts University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where he served as a chief resident. After residency, Dr. Kring entered active-duty service as an Emergency Physician and medical officer in the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force, Dr. Kring served as the EMS Medical Director for Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, and also served as the Emergency Medicine Medical Director at Malcolm Grow Medical Center, part of the military medical system of the National Capital Region.  Dr. Kring deployed with a forward surgical team to Jordan and Syria in 2019, in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.

In addition to his part-time work in the Lahey Burlington ED, Dr. Kring works as a nocturnist at Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA, and works per diem at the UMass Memorial Emergency Department in Worcester, MA. Dr. Kring is the EMS Medical Director for Emerson Hospital and a member of the OEMS Medical Services Committee.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Kring loves running, biking, and skiing, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
