Thomas Brand, MD is originally from Portland, Oregon but now resides in Burlington, MA with his wife Mary Beth and 4 children. He graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital.  He also holds a Masters degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from the University of Oregon and was formerly a Certified Athletic Trainer before attending medical school. Dr. Brand has been a full-time attending Emergency Physician with the Lahey Hospital Medical Center Emergency Department since 1999. He also works part-time in the ED at Beverly Hospital and Addison-Gilbert Hospital and has worked at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, Charleton Memorial Hospital, Tobey Hospital and several hospitals in Minnesota and Wisconsin. 

In addition, Dr. Brand is Chief Surgeon with Northeast Hair Restoration in Wellesley and Worcester where he has been performing hair transplants since 2021. In his spare time Dr. Brand loves travelling with his wife (and kids), reading, going to the theater, running, and playing soccer.
