Saman Namazian

Hi! I'm Saman Namazian, a medical student at Tufts University School of Medicine. I joined Dr. Senna's research lab in 2026 for my research year. I'm most interested in chemotherapy-induced alopecia and the practical side of hair loss: who can get a wig, what treatment costs patients, and who gets left out. I also work on alopecia areata and scarring alopecia.

Outside of medicine, I'm training for an Ironman. When I'm not swimming, biking, or running, I'm usually taking photos around Boston or catching up on podcasts.
